The Production Process of Strand Woven
Bamboo
The Bamboo Fusion patent production method is
unique, in that the poles are split, shredded into individual strands,
and fused under a cold press of 2,500 tons of pressure.
After the curing process, the block (or what resembles a railroad tie) is sliced
into flooring with coatings applied and Uniclic or T&G joint systems
milled.
The natural colors of Coffee & Tiger are
achieved through carbonization; a process of heat and steam treatment
of the raw strand woven bamboo. This method caramelizes the natural sugars
in the strands which creates a richer & darker look.
Choosing Bamboo Fusion strand woven flooring
results in an exotic looking, tough and durable, high performing &
environmentally sustainable floor for future generations.
