The hand crafted styling in Coastal Shores is offered in the welcoming warmth and distinctive grain of American Hickory or the classic fine grain of American Maple. Wide width and long length boards are hand sculpted and softly distressed and will complement todays active homes with larger open spaces.
American Maple and American Hickory are crafted with hand scraping with just the right amount of hand distressing. A rich collection of stain colours are offered to showcase the woods natural beauty.
Finished with 9 coats of UV cured urethane and 2 coats of aluminum oxide for added scratch resistance. This ensures maximum protection without sacrificing the natural beauty of the wood.
In a traditional solid hardwood floor, most of the premium wood is wasted below the wear layer. Coastal Shores uses premium hardwood only for the wear layer, conserving our hardwood forests.
Installation method: Nail, Staple, Glue, or Float as to NWFA standard. All Dansk Hardwood flooring requires a stable environment where humidity levels must be maintained between 30% and 50% R.H.

The patterns and colour variations created in a living tree are, like all of nature, never repeated. Remember that your newly installed floor will vary from samples or pictures in brochures. One cannot expect uniformity from hardwood. Accept instead, all of a hardwoods beautiful natural variations.
This product is manufactured in accordance with industry standards, which permit a defect tolerance not to exceed 5%. The defects may be of any type, whether manufactured or natural.
