Dansk Hardwood, reflects the dramatic etched surface of California’s Mt. Shasta with a wide width, wire brushed and saw marked European white oak hardwood floor. The authentic band saw marks vary in style for a natural look of rough cut wood. Wide 7.5″ planks are carefully selected to offer varied multi-dimensional colour tones for a beautiful rustic floor.
Indoor Air Quality
Dansk Hardwood is CARBII compliant and CE Certified.
We start by selecting the most sought after planks that are both wide in width and long in length. The surface of each plank is then kissed by the blade of a band saw, giving each board a unique texture that cannot be duplicated. Boards are finished with an exquisite selection of stains to create Dansk Hardwood’s most dynamic collection to date.
Finished with eight coats of premium anti-scratch coating with aluminum oxide, ensuring maxium protection without sacrificing the natural beauty of the wood.
In a traditional solid hardwood floor, most of the premium wood is wasted below the pre-finished surface. Dansk Hardwood uses premium hardwood only for the wear layer, conserving more of our trees and forests.
Installation method (as to NWFA standards): Nail, Staple, Cleat, Glue, or Float on, above or below grade. All Dansk Hardwood flooring requires a stable environment where humidity levels must be maintained between 30% and 50% R.H.
